Great Tribulation?

Something just came to me, there is a scripture- "We must through great tribulation enter into the kingdom of God." -Acts 14:22 I got to thinking, why is this? Is there an answer, or is it a mystery? I think I have the answer! The answer is- eternity! Our reward in heaven is eternal, so anything we go through in this present life is worth it! A lifetime is a long time for us, but it is nothing to God, the blink of an eye! It is also a drop in the bucket compared to eternity! I think this is the wisdom of God!
